Job summary

Thales is hiring a Technical Project Manager in Austin, hybrid role, to lead Identity and Biometrics Solutions projects meeting customer requirements and Thales commitments. You will coordinate internal and external teams, manage risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while handling contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or similar field.
• PMP certification with 5 years of technical/engineering PM experience.
• Experience communicating technical information to external customers and stakeholders.
• Experience managing scope and requirements autonomously.
• Proven use of PM tools like Confluence, JIRA, MS Project and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and update project requirements baseline with Bid Manager and Capture Leader.
• Establish and update project execution baseline (WBS, schedule, budgets, etc.).
• Lead customer interactions for the project.
• Coordinate project launch reviews with all stakeholders and required documents.
• Manage legal and contractual requirements including disputes.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and report to senior management.
• Close the project with archival of documents and lessons learned.
• Coordinate across teams for prioritization, resources, risks and issues.
• Present monthly dashboards with project KPIs and financials.
