Job summary

Turning Point Care Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our behavioral health team in Moultrie, GA.

The NP will work with the Medical Director and staff to assess patients, determine diagnoses, prescribe treatments, and manage mental health regimens in collaboration with a designated physician. This 40-hour-per-week role requires an active Georgia APRN license and PMHNP or PMHCNS certification, plus several years of psychiatric/chemical

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing with PMHNP or PMHCNS certification.
• GA APRN license; certification with a national board.
• Five years of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing experience.
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnosis plans.
• Prescribe treatments and manage care regimens with designated physician.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, clinical staff, and nursing team.
