Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operator Tech (Surface) - PM to perform reclaim operations and routine maintenance of equipment and work areas.

The role requires attention to safety, quality, and process discipline in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include loading unprocessed blocks into the reclaim unit, transferring cleaned blocks to drying racks, sorting blocks into labeled bins, and communicating issues with peers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Read English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve processed blocks from ART De-blockers for reclaim as needed.
• Load unprocessed blocks into the reclaim basket on top of the ultrasonic reclaiming unit approximately every 12–15 minutes.
• Safely remove cleaned blocks and place them on the drying rack.
• Sort clean blocks into labeled bins.
• Communicate and escalate issues with peers and supervisors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and the facility.
• Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and safety regulations.
