Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operator Tech (Surface) - PM to perform reclaim operations and routine maintenance of equipment and work areas.

The role requires attention to safety, quality, and process discipline in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include loading unprocessed blocks into the reclaim unit, transferring cleaned blocks to drying racks, sorting blocks into labeled bins, and communicating issues with peers and supervisors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate and escalate issues with peers and supervisors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and the facility.
• Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and safety regulations.

Manufacturing Operator Tech (Surface) - PM

Summary

Performs all duties essential to the Reclaim operation. Performs general daily and weekly maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve processed blocks needing to be clean from the ART De-blockers as needed.
• Properly place a reasonable amount of unprocessed blocks into the reclaim basket located on top of the ultrasonic reclaiming unit for processing (approximately every 12 to 15 minutes).
• Safely remove cleaned blocks from the ultrasonic unit and place them on the drying rack.
• Sort clean, dry blocks into the appropriate labeled bins.
• Communicate and elevate with peers and principals as necessary.
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and the overall facility.
• Practice and comply with all requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.

Pay Class and Pay

Pay Class: Full Time

Pay: $15.95 - $18.58 per hour

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Experience & Background

One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.

Reasoning Ability
