Job summary

Willow Creek Health Care Center in New Mexico is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the NOC shift to supervise the PM shift operations and ensure quality resident care. The RN works under the DON/ADON to maintain standards and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience; long-term care experience is preferred. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
• Must have at least one (1) year of nursing experience — no new graduates at this time.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, quality care and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care during the PM shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor resident care to ensure adherence to care plans and facility standards.
• Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident status and care needs.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training, support, and leadership to nursing assistants and LVNs.
• Maintain documentation and complete reports as required by facility policies and regulatory agencies.
