Job summary

The UPS Store is hiring a part-time Retail Associate for the PM shift at Austin store #77 in Downtown. You will assist customers, process shipments, and operate office equipment while delivering friendly, professional service.

Ideal candidates have retail experience, strong computer skills, and a willingness to obtain Notary certification. Shifts are afternoons and weekends, with opportunities to grow into full-time roles in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, internet).
• Excellent phone and communication skills.
• Friendly, helpful demeanor and professional appearance.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• 15–30 hours per week with afternoon and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk‑in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Willingness to complete Notary certification and provide notary services to customers.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership.
• Takes ownership of the customer’s shipping needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
