Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a qualified PM&R physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans. You will review medical records, conduct non-treating evaluations, and complete VA DBQs through a secure online portal.

This full-time hybrid role involves face-to-face and telehealth assessments, with a focus on accurate documentation and timely submissions. Prior PM&R board certification is preferred and licensing is required.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO license with a PM&R specialization.
• Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Role is non-treating, independent medical assessments for veterans.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans.
• Complete and submit DBQs based on VA templates.
• Submit DBQs within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
