Job summary

MRG Exams seeks a qualified PM&R physician to perform independent medical assessments for U.S. veterans. You will review records, conduct non-treating evaluations, and complete VA DBQs through a secure online portal to support disability determinations.

The role is full-time and hybrid, combining face-to-face and telehealth. Ideal candidates will have PM&R board certification, strong data analysis, and a commitment to delivering timely, high-quality assessments for veterans.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO license with PM&R specialization.
• Board certification in PM&R preferred; two-year residency in a relevant specialty acceptable.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail essential.
• Experience performing non-treating independent medical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records via a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive non-treating assessments of veterans.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs using VA templates.
• Submit DBQs within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
