Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a qualified PM&R physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans, reviewing records, conducting non-treating evaluations, and completing VA DBQs through a secure portal.

The role emphasizes timely, accurate documentation, with assessments typically conducted via telehealth or travel across the United States, up to four veterans daily.

This is a non-treatment, investigative position with flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to veteran care.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO license with a PM&R specialization.
• Board certification in PM&R, Neurological Surgery, or Psychiatry and Neurology preferred.
• Two-year residency in a relevant specialty will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze veterans' medical records via a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document health conditions.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs using VA templates to capture medical findings.
• Ensure that DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of the assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
