Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a PM&R physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. You will review medical records, perform non-treating evaluations, and complete VA DBQs through a secure portal to support disability determinations.

Role is full-time and hybrid (face-to-face and telehealth) in San Ramon, CA. Licensing in PM&R is required, with board certification preferred; strong data analysis and precise documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Active MD or DO license with PM&R specialization.
• Board certification preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will be considered.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct non-treating assessments and document findings.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs using VA templates.
• Ensure DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours of assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
