Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL seeks a PM&P Material Process Engineering Manager 3 to lead PM&P design within the SDS Design Engineering team. You will develop PM&P plans, advise on material choice and manufacturability, and manage supplier relationships to meet security, cost and schedule requirements.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, and includes leadership of cross-functional teams, cost control, and budgeting activities for programs typically over $50M.

Formación

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at time of application
• Minimum CAM experience of 3 years with development and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines

Responsabilidades

• Lead PM&P Design discipline within SDS Design Engineering organization
• Develop and maintain PM&P plans for design, development, production, test, and sustainment
• Provide design reviews input on material selection, process feasibility, manufacturability, and cost
• Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to meet technical, quality, schedule, and security requirements
• Chair the PM&P Control Board and present status to customers and leadership
• Identify cost and schedule risks and develop mitigation plans with EVM integration
• Author and present technical content for proposals, milestone reviews, and position papers
• Mentor junior engineers in PM&P best practices
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to resolve part and material challenges
• Define team strategies and serve as CAM for the PM&P Sentinel program
• Lead and train team to meet objectives and improve processes
