Pack's Tavern in downtown Asheville is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our PM kitchen team. You will prepare and execute dinner menu items with accuracy, work across multiple stations, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate has prior line cook experience, thrives in a fast-paced setting, communicates well with the team, and takes pride in consistency. We offer competitive hourly pay and a supportive, growth-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay organized and composed during busy service
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Takes pride in food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items for dinner service with accuracy and consistency
• Work multiple stations as needed during service
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Keep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and management
• Assist with prep, cleaning, and closing responsibilities
• Take ownership of your station and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen
