Job summary

General Hotels Corporation is seeking a dependable Line Cook (PM) for Crowne Plaza Downtown Indianapolis Union Station in Indianapolis, IN. You will prepare menu items to brand standards, maintain cleanliness, and support opening/closing procedures.

The role requires teamwork, strong attention to detail, and adherence to food safety practices. A great candidate will have prior cooking or food service experience, knowledge of kitchen operations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and brand standards.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and ingredient setup.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food products.
• Assist with banquet and special event food preparation as needed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.
• Support daily opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.
