Job summary

Colwen Management Inc in Portland, ME is seeking a Full-Time PM Line Cook to join our Food and Beverage team at the Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks. The ideal candidate has cooking experience, dependability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The position includes a $250 hiring bonus, with $125 after 3 months and the remaining $125 after 6 months, subject to tax withholdings. You will prepare items per recipes, uphold safety standards, and support kitchen operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety requirements.
• Basic understanding of food handling, preparation, and cooking procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team.
• Prior related experience preferred; ServSafe/Safe Food handling certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following recipe cards and standards.
• Cook menu items with kitchen team to ensure high quality and timely output.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards.
• Follow Chef instructions and assist in prep and clean up.
• Maintain food safety, time and temperature controls.
