Job summary

Colwen Hotels’ Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown Old Port is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to support our fast-paced kitchen team. The ideal candidate has cooking experience and a high level of dependability and attention to detail.

You will follow recipes, maintain quality, uphold safety standards, assist with prep and daily cleanup, and collaborate well with a team in a busy dining environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently and to be a reliable team member.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following recipe cards and standards.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards.
• Assist in prep work and end-of-shift cleaning.
• Ensure food is produced with high quality and in a timely manner.
• Note out-of-stock items and assist with inventory as needed.
