Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking an HVAC technician for facilities maintenance in Leesburg, VA. The role requires a Journeyman HVAC license (Virginia) with Master licenses desired and Universal CFC refrigerant certification.

You will maintain and repair HVAC equipment, including RTUs and chillers, and manage related energy controls. The position is full-time with a PM shift (2pm-10pm) and essential personnel status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a mechanical (HVAC) trade apprenticeship.
• Virginia Journeyman HVAC license required; Master HVAC & Master Gas Fitter desired.
• Universal CFC Refrigerant License required.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment including RTUs, VAVs, fan coils, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Performs preventive maintenance and coordinates installation schedules with customers.
• Maintains Refrigerant Control Logs per EPA regulations and supervisor guidance.
• May lead a team of maintenance personnel on projects.
