Job summary

Flagship Facility Services, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a guest-focused café host to maintain dining areas, assist guests, take orders, and restock stations during shifts from 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

The role requires 1+ year in food service or customer service, good vision, strong communication, and the ability to lead a small team while following OSHA sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in food service operation or customer service role.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to move throughout the café and kitchen and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect dining room service stations for neatness; restock stations while avoiding contamination.
• Take orders and set/re-set tables with place settings; assist guests as host/hostess.
• Prepare beverages and expedite food orders as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures per OSHA and Public Health guidelines.
• Lead a team and coordinate tasks during shifts.

Squatting and kneeling may be required. Good balance required to safely perform all assigned tasks. Neck flexion and usage will be constant while performing assigned tasks.
