Job summary

San Bernardino Staybridge Suites by IHG Loma Linda seeks a Front Desk Supervisor to coordinate front office activities and support the General Manager.

The role requires 0–1+ year of customer service experience and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities include training staff, handling guest requests, and maintaining records, with opportunities for advancement and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 0–1+ year of customer service experience.
• Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity.
• Ability to answer and route calls; takes guest messages with accuracy.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs Guest Service Agent duties as scheduled by Management.
• Provides training, including safety training, to front office staff as directed by Management.
• Assists in selecting Guest Service Agents.
• Schedules front desk personnel within budget guidelines to ensure adequate staffing.
• Maintains records including cash flow sheet, direct bill accounts, credit card payments, registration cards, and reservation cards.
• Corresponds with group and travel agents to answer special requests for rooms and rates.
• Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed.
• Assigns duties to Guest Service Agents and monitors performance for policy adherence.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
• Performs functions of General Manager in their absence.
• Assists GM in staff meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.
