Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a PM Dock Lead in Delray Beach, FL, to manage shipping and receiving on the dock. This full-time, onsite role reports to the Shipping and Receiving Assistant Manager and supports forklift drivers, loading, and unloading activities.

The position requires 2+ years dock experience, basic math and literacy, and good communication. Some roles may require flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dock experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Good communication skills with team and Shipping Office.
• Basic math and literacy skills.
• Spanish language knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock operations in receiving or outbound.
• Train new employees in receiving and outbound processes.
• Direct loading/unloading of palletized produce from trailers.
• Coordinate dock door assignments with Shipping Office.
• Prepare cartons for QC weight checks and pallet wrapping.
• Monitor PPE and GMP/USDA/DOL compliance.
• Assist forklift drivers and maintain safe dock workflow.
• Maintain team leadership on the dock floor.
