Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Delray Beach, FL to oversee inbound/outbound shipments, supervise staff, and ensure SOPs are followed. The role requires budget control, coordination with multiple departments, and adherence to GMPs and safety standards.

The position reports to the Senior Regional Distribution Manager and is full-time onsite, with duties spanning office and warehouse operations critical to our distribution network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in compliance and/or safety certification training.
• Knowledge of DOT state and federal requirements, policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn and understand transportation software systems and technologies.
• Computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage personnel.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of Spanish language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain budgetary guidelines for the Shipping Department and warehouse personnel.
• Hold regular meetings with all departments to evaluate performance and needs.
• Establish performance expectations and mentor staff to exceed daily goals.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound orders with Commodity Management and Client Services.
• Schedule and train personnel for daily movement of products inbound/outbound.
• Oversee loads, fulfillment rates, inventory and receiving processes.
• Work with Quality Control to ensure procedures are followed and recorded.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety procedures, and external audits.
