StepStone Hospitality in St. Louis is seeking a dependable dishroom attendant to load, run and unload the dish machine, keep the dish area clean, and assist with basic food prep as needed.

The role supports the dining service and kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes monitoring water temperature for sanitary wash cycles, washing and storing tableware, and maintaining health and sanitation standards while helping maintain adequate supplies.

Formación

• Minimum lifting of 70 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing.
• Minimum pulling of 70 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dish room clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place all in designated containers and haul to dumpster.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck.
• Perform basic food prep as needed.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
