Job summary

Festival Foods in Neenah, WI, is seeking a Center Store Assistant Manager-PM to provide operational and leadership support across Grocery, Frozen/Dairy, Natural & Organic, and HBC/GM departments, with afternoon and night shift focus. You will help maintain department standards, inventory, pricing, and guest service, while training and guiding associates.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of leadership in retail and a strong merchandising background, with the ability to collaborate with store

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or restaurant.
• Thorough knowledge of the retail food business and merchandising skills.
• Familiarity with store operations and coordination with store/vendor teams.
• Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment; understand safety requirements.
• Knowledge of operating equipment like hand jacks, balers, forklifts, hand trucks and trash compactors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Center Store departments, adapting based on daily business needs.
• Step in and lead teams in the absence of Center Store Manager(s).
• Train, coach, and re-train associates to ensure high performance and alignment with company culture.
• Maintain department standards, inventory levels, pricing, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Store Director, department managers, and associates to exceed guest expectations.
• Verify timekeeping and communicate scheduling issues to HR.
• Assist guests with product location, special orders, and questions.
• Maintain department organization and cleanliness, including back stock areas.
