The role shifts with daily business needs, maintains inventory and pricing, and supports afternoon/night shift operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

The position reports to the Center Store Manager and emphasizes training, teamwork, and maintaining department standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or restaurant preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the retail food business, especially non-perishable department operations.
• Ability to coordinate with store and vendor teams.
• Strong merchandising skills and guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Center Store departments based on daily needs.
• Ensure leadership continuity in absence of Center Store Manager.
• Train, coach, and re-train associates to maintain high performance.
• Maintain inventory levels, pricing, and department cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Store Director and managers to exceed guest expectations.
• Verify timekeeping and address scheduling issues with HR.
• Assist guests with product locations, special orders, and questions.
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization.
