Job summary

Plus Interiors Hawaii is seeking a Sales & Design Consultant to guide homeowners through cabinetry design and installation in Hawaii. You will build relationships, present designs and proposals, and close sales, coordinating with trades to ensure smooth projects.

This role offers commission-based pay, a 401(k) plan, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to sell locally manufactured Kapolei cabinetry, with a collaborative team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience.
• A strong sales mindset and the drive to achieve results.
• Excellent listening, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• An eye for design and strong attention to detail.
• Organization and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
• Comfort learning cabinetry design software and other technology.
• Kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, or construction experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation for client appointments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, contractors, and trade partners to understand project needs, style, and budget.
• Measure spaces and develop kitchen and bath cabinetry layouts using design software.
• Help clients select cabinet materials, finishes, hardware, and organizational features.
• Prepare and present designs, estimates, and proposals, address questions, and close sales.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers and maintain clear next steps.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and relationships with contractors, designers, and other trade partners.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure accurate project details and an excellent customer experience.
• Stay involved from the initial consultation through installation and follow-up.
