Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies is seeking a Plumbing Site Operator to oversee site preparation activities across multipleprojects. The role requires trenching, backfilling, and concrete prep work, with coordination among trades and strong attention to safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in operator roles with excavator and skid steer certifications, and proficiency with iPad/tablet tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years as an operator and concrete finisher.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate with other trades.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to operate and navigate files on an iPad/tablet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excavator certification.
• Skid steer certification.
• Ability to maneuver a trailer.
• Experience with hand tools, small power tools and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches for electrical conduit installation up to 4’ deep.
• Backfill electrical trenches with spoil and approved backfill.
• Prepare and place concrete for bases, pads and trenches.
• Review submittals and coordinate layouts with other trades.
• Identify and create RFIs and manage multiple projects.
• Schedule inspections and coordinate with OUPS.
• Train workers on excavation, backfilling, and conduit installation.
• Ensure NEC compliance for underground conduits.
• Produce layout drawings and code calculations.
• Maintain project materials and equipment readiness.
