Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies seeks a Plumbing Estimator to bid, document, and prepare takeoffs for new housing projects. You will coordinate with vendors, review bid documents, and develop installation designs and equipment lists.

Applicants should have 5+ years estimating or construction field experience, 2+ years plumbing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Wrightsoft. This on-site role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience or construction field experience.
• 2+ years of Plumbing construction experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Wrightsoft or similar estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Download and review all Bid Documents before setting up folders.
• Schedule review meetings.
• Perform equipment counts and understand the installation labor needed for each type.
• Use different programs to select and create equipment/material lists.
• Provide installation designs and equipment lists using builder/GC provided plans.
• Create and coordinate takeoff lists of new projects.
• Sending out RFQ’s to vendors for quoted items.
• Verify correct date of drawings on the Proposal.
• Verify all RFI’s and Addendums are listed on Proposal.
• Updating logs when a project is bid, lost, or awarded.
• Respond to GC and Vendor Questions in a timely manner.
