Job summary
Stellar Group Inc seeks an Equipment Operator to operate and maintain machinery for underground plumbing installations, ensuring safe, efficient performance on site. You will assist with installation, excavation and backfill, coordinating with field teams to meet schedules and uphold quality and safety standards.
Requirements include a high school diploma and OSHA 10 certification preferred; ability to travel to project sites nationwide is anticipated.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment for underground plumbing installations.
- Assist with installation, excavation and backfill as required.
- Load and unload equipment and materials on site.
- Maintain daily inspection records and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with field teams to meet project schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Emergency leak response, if required.
