Job summary

The Romanoff Group of Companies is actively seeking qualified candidates for the Plumbing Site Operator position to join our award-winning team. The role focuses on preparing project sites, coordinating with trades, and ensuring safety and quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an operator and concrete finisher.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate with other trades.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to operate and navigate files on an iPad tablet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excavator certification.
• Skid steer certification.
• Ability to maneuver a trailer.
• Experience with hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment.
• Experience inspecting installation sites.
• Experience studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Excavate trenches for electrical conduit installation up to 4’ in depth.
• Backfill electrical trenches with spoils and approved backfill material.
• Concrete prep and placement for bases and pads.
• Review submittals and coordinate layouts with other trades.
• Identify and create RFIs.
• Manage multiple projects and schedule tasks.
• Coordinate and schedule inspections and OUPS.
• Instruct and train workers on excavation, backfilling, and conduit installation.
• Maintain NEC knowledge for underground conduits.
• Ensure quality work and adherence to project schedules.
• Read and interpret plans and prepare sketches and layout drawings.
