IES is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to perform service, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial customers in accordance with company standards and codes. The role requires independent work on routine service calls while ensuring safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing plumbing issues, reading work orders, maintaining records, and coordinating with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years plumbing service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass background checks and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Perform plumbing troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and service work per codes.
• Read work orders and diagrams to complete assignments accurately.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
• Coordinate with field personnel, customers, and vendors on service activities.
• Maintain accurate service records and jobsite documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, codes, and standards.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized.
• Provide clear service recommendations and repair information to customers.
• Assist with training entry-level technicians as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.
