Job summary

IES is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to perform installation, maintenance, and repair on residential and commercial projects in accordance with codes and company standards. The role supports field operations, ensures safety, and maintains quality workmanship on job sites.

You will read blueprints, measure and install components, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with teams to maintain project progress and documentation.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, tools, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and work instructions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and work orders to complete installations accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and assist with identifying and resolving installation or operational concerns.
• Coordinate with field personnel, supervisors, vendors, and internal departments regarding job progress, material needs, and project updates.
