Job summary

Southern Air Heating Cooling & Plumbing is hiring a Service Plumber in the Lafayette area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing, installing and maintaining fixtures, and ensuring code compliance.

This is a commission-based position with substantial earning potential and comprehensive benefits. We seek self-motivated individuals with 1–5 years of plumbing experience, appropriate licenses or apprenticeship, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred.
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship.
• Current plumbing certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues.
• Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues.
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues.
• Provide comprehensive plumbing services for residential customers.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Interact professionally and honestly with customers to help them understand plumbing concerns and solutions.

What you will do:

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues

• Attend appropriate safety training as required by the company

Who you are:

• 1-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship
• Current plumbing certification as required by state
• Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
