Job summary

Southern Air of Baton Rouge is seeking a self-motivated Journeyman Plumber to diagnose and repair residential and small commercial plumbing systems. This full-time role offers uncapped pay potential, comprehensive benefits, a matching 401(k), and ongoing training. Relocation to Baton Rouge is preferred.

If you bring 4+ years of experience and a valid license, you will join a family-owned team committed to growth and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred.
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship.
• Current plumbing certification as required by state.
• Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues.
• Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues.
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues.
• Provide comprehensive plumbing services for residential customers.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Interact professionally and honestly with customers to help them understand plumbing concerns and solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of services and document before/after photos.
• Educate customers on best practices for their plumbing systems.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and attend required safety training.
