Job summary

Trahan's Heating & Cooling is seeking a self-motivated Service Plumber to join our growing plumbing team in Houma, LA. This in-person role offers commission-based pay with uncapped earning potential and a strong benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and a matching 401(k).

You will conduct inspections, diagnose residential plumbing issues, perform repairs, install and maintain plumbing systems, and ensure code compliance while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred.
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship.
• Current plumbing certification as required by state
• Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues
• Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues
• Provide comprehensive plumbing services for residential customers
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
• Interact professionally and honestly with customers to help them understand plumbing concerns and solutions
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records of services, including documenting pictures of before and after services
• Educate customers on best practices for their plumbing systems
• Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures
• Attend appropriate safety training as required by the company
