Job summary

Southern Air of South LA is seeking a motivated individual to join our Plumbing Install team in Lafayette, LA. You will train hands-on with residential and light commercial projects, assist with parts, tools, and installation, and help prep work areas to ensure safe, efficient job sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced plumbers on residential and light commercial projects.
• Receive hands-on training in plumbing.
• Assist with parts, tools, delivery, installation at job site.
• Help prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and materials.
• Dig trenches and holes for laying pipes and fittings.
• Assist in cutting, bending, threading, and joining pipes.
• Assist in repairing plumbing problems.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Assist with plumbing according to safety requirements and company standards.
