Job summary

Hammond Services in the Atlanta area is hiring qualified plumbers to join a family-owned heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical company.

Expect competitive pay ($70,000–$180,000+), commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package, plus ongoing training and mentorship.

You’ll perform field plumbing work, talk with customers, and collaborate with a team focused on craftsmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years residential plumbing service and installation experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong finger and manual dexterity for handling pipes and plumbing fixtures
• Detail-oriented, organized and proficient at reading blueprints
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes
• Willing to work in all types of weather
• Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the plumbing trade
• Have a valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance requirements
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
• Effectively manage call volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members

Responsibilities

• Manual work at the journeyman level in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems.
• Performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair work independently.
• Discuss plumbing malfunctions with customers to avoid future problems.
• Use of software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD).
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete installations and repairs efficiently.

• $70,000 – $180,000+ annually (based on experience, certifications, and performance)

What You’ll Do:
