Job summary

IES is seeking a Plumbing Coordinator to support plumbing operations by coordinating project schedules, permits, inspections, and documentation. You will act as a central point of contact among field personnel, project managers, customers, vendors, and officials.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, strong organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel to local sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years administrative, construction coordination, plumbing industry, or related experience.
• Associates degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating plumbing permits, inspections, licensing, or construction activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling of plumbing technicians and subcontractors to support project timelines.
• Process plumbing permit applications and maintain permit tracking logs.
• Schedule inspections with municipalities and ensure compliance with codes.
• Maintain project documentation (contracts, work orders, permits, inspection records).
• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution.
