Job summary

IES is seeking a Plumbing Coordinator in Cincinnati, OH to support plumbing operations by coordinating project schedules, permits, inspections, documentation, and materials. This role acts as the main liaison among field teams, project managers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and authorities.

Responsibilities include scheduling, permit processing, inspection coordination, documentation management, and proactive issue resolution to keep projects on track and compliant with codes and company

Qualifications

• Two years of administrative, construction coordination, plumbing industry, or related experience.
• Experience coordinating permits, inspections, or licensing preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and jurisdictional requirements helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling of plumbing technicians and subcontractors.
• Process permit applications, maintain permit tracking logs, and coordinate licensing requirements.
• Schedule inspections with municipalities and assist with code compliance.
• Maintain project documentation, contracts, work orders, permits, and inspection records.
• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Communicate schedules and status updates to customers, builders, field personnel, and teams.
• Order and track plumbing materials and equipment for timely delivery.
• Coordinate COI requests, licensing documentation, and other project requirements.
• Monitor timelines and address conflicts, delays, and coordination issues.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor documentation as needed.
• Support plumbing teams with scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Prepare reports related to permits, inspections, progress, deliveries, and workforce scheduling.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
