Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager, coordinate design-build efforts, and advance BIM-based estimation and scheduling. You will interpret plans, prepare bid packages, coordinate meetings, and drive procurement and field oversight.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, proficiency with MS Office and construction software, and a track record of proactive teamwork and problem solving.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; Construction Management or related field required.
• Experience progressing from Project Engineer I to more senior roles based on performance and leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with writing proposals, subcontracts, change orders, and project documents.
• Develop and submit RFIs, Submittals, procurement logs, and shop drawings under PM direction.
• Coordinate meetings and support BIM, scheduling, and estimating tasks.
• Perform takeoffs, solicit vendor/subcontractor quotes, and develop bid estimates.
• Oversee job progress and on-site quality, interpreting plans and specs.
• Manage vendor buyout, procurement tracking, and delivery of purchases.
• Support project accounting tasks including forecasting, invoicing, and closeout.
