Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Mechanic to support our commercial project teams in Roanoke and surrounding areas. You will assist with the installation of plumbing systems across K-12, university, and healthcare facilities, reading drawings and coordinating with other trades.

We value dependability, teamwork, and a safety-first mindset. A high school diploma is required; vocational training is preferred and drivers license is needed for site travel.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of plumbing principles and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Commitment to completing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Assist job-site crew with installation of plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret coordination drawings and blueprints.
• Install fixtures and see work through from start to finish.
• Mentor helpers and apprentices on site.
• Support other mechanical trades as needed.
• Maintain dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
