Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Mechanic to support our commercial projects in Lynchburg and surrounding areas. You will assist the job site crew with plumbing installations on K-12, university, and healthcare buildings, ensuring work progresses from start to finish.

The role requires reading drawings, installing fixtures, and mentoring helpers. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential; we provide ESOP ownership and comprehensive

Plumbing Mechanic

Location: Lynchburg and surrounding areas. North towards Charlottesville, Southwest towards Roanoke/New River Valley.

The Role:

The Plumbing Mechanic is responsible for assisting the job site crew with the installation of plumbing systems that bring the building to life. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.

What You'll Do:

• Thorough knowledge of the plumbing trade including layout, install (under and/or above ground)
• Experience installing fixtures
• Experience seeing installs from start to finish
• Ability to read and interpret construction/coordination drawings and blueprints
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must be open to helping other mechanical trades as needed
• Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation

• Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
