Job summary

Southern Air in Lafayette, LA is seeking a self-motivated plumbing install team member for full-time work with strong earning potential and benefits.

You will receive hands-on training in residential and light commercial plumbing, assist with equipment, prep job sites, and work with experienced plumbers. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday with potential on-call weekends; pay ranges from $50k to $100k annually, plus 401(k) matching and comprehensive insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be hard-working and willing to learn.
• Experience with plumbing preferred.
• Strong communication skills are needed.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced plumbers.
• Receive hands-on training in residential and light commercial plumbing.
• Assist with parts, tools, delivery and installation at job sites.
• Prepare work areas by organizing tools and materials.
• Dig trenches and lay pipes and fittings.
• Assist in cutting, bending, threading and joining pipes.
• Help repair plumbing problems.
• Operate hand and power tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety requirements and company standards.

What you will do:

• Work side-by-side the BEST plumbers in the industry!
