Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager for the San Francisco Bay Area. This permanent, full-time role balances office and field work and will oversee projects from inception to closeout.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management, with experience in large commercial projects and plumbing/piping or sheet metal trades.

Qualifications

• Currently work for a large commercial mechanical construction company on plan-spec, design-build, and other project types.
• Experience with large commercial projects such as schools, hospitals, airports, highrises, hotels, stadiums, data centers, and other commercial buildings.
• Apprenticeship or Journeyman program in Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Sheet Metal.

Responsibilities

• Balance time between office and job site.
• Manage projects from inception to close out, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with building owners, GC, subs, vendors, and internal PM leadership.
• Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs.

Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager in San Francisco Bay Area

This is a permanent, full time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Balance time between office and job site
• Manage projects from inception to close out, ensuring projects are completed safely, on-time, and under budget
• Coordinate with building owners, general contractor, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, superintendents, and internal Sr-leadership/Project Management team
• Manage schedules, budgets, change-orders, submit RFI’s

Requirements:

• Currently work for a large commercial mechanical (hvac or plumbing) construction company working on plan-spec, design-build, design-bid-build projects, among others
• Large commercial project experience working on schools, hospitals, airports, highrises, hotels, stadiums, data centers, commercial buildings, among others
• Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Sheet Metal Apprenticeship, Journeyman Program
• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or Construction Management
• Software knowledge: OST (Quickpen/Trimble Accubid, Viewpoint, Quotesoft, or others), BlueBeam/Adobe, MS Project/Primavera, Procore, among others
