Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC seeks a Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager for the Los Angeles/Orange County area. This permanent, full-time role blends office planning with field oversight to deliver complex mechanical projects.

You will coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality from inception to closeout. A strong background in large commercial HVAC/plumbing and related software is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with large commercial mechanical construction on plan-spec, design-build, or design-bid-build projects.
• Experience on schools, hospitals, airports, high-rises, hotels, stadiums, data centers, or other commercial buildings.
• Apprenticeship or Journeyman in Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Sheet Metal.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Construction Management.
• Proficient with OST, BlueBeam/Adobe, MS Project/Primavera, Procore, etc.

• Balance time between office and job site
• Manage projects from inception to close out, ensuring projects are completed safely, on-time, and under budget
• Coordinate with building owners, general contractor, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, superintendents, and internal Sr-leadership/Project Management team
• Manage schedules, budgets, change-orders, submit RFI's

Requirements:

• Currently work for a large commercial mechanical (hvac or plumbing) construction company working on plan-spec, design-build, design-bid-build projects, among others
• Large commercial project experience working on schools, hospitals, airports, highrises, hotels, stadiums, data centers, commercial buildings, among others
• Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Sheet Metal Apprenticeship, Journeyman Program
• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or Construction Management
• Software knowledge: OST (Quickpen/Trimble Accubid, Viewpoint, Quotesoft, or others), BlueBeam/Adobe, MS Project/Primavera, Procore, among others
