Job summary

Jobot in Northern Virginia is seeking a Plumbing Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for plumbing construction projects, review plans, and perform detailed quantity takeoffs. You will work closely with Preconstruction, Project Management, and Operations teams to ensure competitive bids and profitable execution.

The role requires 3+ years in plumbing estimating, strong knowledge of plumbing systems, and experience with estimating software.

Qualifications

3+ years estimating experience in Plumbing/Mechanical Construction.
Experience performing quantity takeoffs from drawings/specs.
Strong understanding of Plumbing systems, materials, and installation.
Experience developing labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Review bid documents to identify scope and develop pricing.
Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, QuoteSoft, PlanSwift.
Ability to manage multiple bids, priorities, and deadlines.

Responsibilities
