Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of construction estimating experience with a focus on plumbing.
• Strong familiarity with plumbing codes and standards.
• Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project blueprints and technical documents to assess material, labor, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with project management to provide cost information and risk assessments.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and competitive reflecting client needs and market conditions.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and contracts.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to understand scope and requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to meet specifications and regulations.
• Maintain a database of past projects and bids to refine costing models.
