Required Skills

• 2+ years designing fire protection systems (sprinkler design experience emphasized)
• Fire protection system sizing, piping design, and routing/layout
• Ability to place sprinkler heads while coordinating with obstructions and other trades
• Proficiency with Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have Skills

• Hydraulic calculation experience
• Experience designing fire protection for industrial environments (plus commercial)
• AutoCAD proficiency (in addition to Revit)

Preferred Education and Experience

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: AS in Technical Design/Drafting or BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Preferred: E.I.T. certificate (a plus for engineering-track candidates)
