Job summary

WilsonHCG is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer with 3+ years of experience to develop shop drawings, perform hydraulic calculations, and manage permit submittals for commercial and industrial projects.

You will coordinate with contractors, engineers, field teams, and AHJs to ensure compliant and efficient water-based fire protection systems, while contributing to project growth and learning opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fire sprinkler design experience
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and applicable codes
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software
• Experience designing wet, dry, preaction and standpipe systems
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate with multiple trades
• Strong understanding of sprinkler layouts, piping systems and water supply analysis
