Job summary

DBR Engineering Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Designer II in San Antonio to lead design efforts on projects from kickoff through construction.

You will coordinate with engineers and BIM staff to deliver quality documents on schedule and ensure compliance with codes and company standards. The role requires hands-on drafting in Revit/AutoCAD, familiarity with equipment sizing and schedules, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering with 2 years related work experience.
• Technical/Associate Degree with 3 years related work experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with 4 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary designer on a project from kick-off to completion of construction.
• Coordinate all design aspects with other disciplines.
• Prepare drawings and sketches for final construction documents and equipment schedules.
• Incorporate design concepts from schematic design into design development and construction documents.
• Maintain organized project files and meet project deadlines.
