EEA Consulting Engineers is hiring a BIM Coordinator/Plumbing Designer in San Antonio, TX. The role combines BIM coordination and hands-on plumbing design support across various project types, serving as a Revit/BIM technical resource for project teams.

You will collaborate with engineers to develop and coordinate plumbing systems, support BIM standards, and ensure compliant designs. Hybrid schedule in San Antonio enables flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience utilizing Revit and AutoCAD within the MEP consulting industry.
• 2+ years of experience supporting plumbing system design for commercial projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in Revit project setup, model management, BIM coordination, and MEP drawing production.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, design practices, codes, and industry standards.
• Experience coordinating BIM efforts on multi‑discipline projects, including linked models and clash detection.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as BIM/Revit coordination resource for project teams.
• Set up and manage Revit and AutoCAD projects in accordance with company standards and best practices.
• Manage project backgrounds, linked models, xrefs, templates, worksets, sheets, and project standards.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to support project delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Assist with BIM coordination and clash detection efforts on multi-discipline projects.
• Monitor model health, file performance, and adherence to BIM execution procedures and company standards.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of BIM and CAD standards, templates, and workflows.
• Provide guidance to team members on Revit best practices, model management, and production procedures.
• Assist with file organization, project archiving, and document management processes.
