Job summary

Encotech Engineering Consultants, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Plumbing Graduate Engineer / Engineer in Training to perform design of plumbing systems for small to mid-size projects under supervision.

The role emphasizes proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit and adherence to applicable codes and standards. The successful candidate will support project planning, prepare drawings, coordinate with clients and other disciplines, and gain FE exam progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year university; FE exam passed or in process.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Attention to detail; ability to clearly communicate with managers, end users, and engineers from other departments.
Minimum three years of engineering work experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare design drawings, diagrams, charts, plans, and permits under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to exchange information and address concerns.
Use AutoCAD and Revit to prepare drawings and generate technical reports and documents.
Perform engineering studies, calculations, analyses, and estimates.
Conduct field observations of contractor work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Monitor project status against plan and report results; oversee minor contract administration and construction observations.
